Steve is a Health Physicist for the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission. He has been a member of the Philadelphia Bogleheads for the past 6 years. His knowledge is self taught through reading dozens of books on financial planning and retirement. He has given numerous presentations to his local Bogleheads chapter and to colleagues at work.

Californians are embracing electric cars. Sales here have doubled in the past two years and 16% of all cars sold in California last year were electric. Topics include costs, performance, maintenance, charging logistics, and overcoming range anxiety.

Alan was a Senior Information Technology Specialist at IBM and in his earlier days he was a C-130 pilot. He and Jim Cosgrove founded the South Bay Bogleheads.
